Space planning is the technique used by Georgetown which organizes the furniture and office equipment in the most effective way to meet the needs of the faculty, staff, students, and other community members. Many factors are taken into consideration to optimize the space for efficient utilization, such as event support layout, accommodating event support services, furniture configuration, lighting, storage, and use of technology.
