Qalam Series: Nadifa Mohamed in conversation with Kamila Shamsie

Nadifa Mohamed is the author of The Fortune Men, shortlisted for the 2021 Booker Prize and winner of Wales Book of the Year. Her earlier novels include Black Mamba Boy, which won the Betty Trask Prize, and The Orchard of Lost Souls, which received the Somerset Maugham Award and the Prix Albert Bernard. Named among Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists in 2013, she is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
