Registration Open for Georgetown’s Executive Certificate Courses in Protocol Training and Global Digital Marketing

Nino Kader

Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) is offering two Executive Education Certificate Courses that provide junior to mid-level professionals and executives in Qatar with the high impact skills and strategies needed for success in a globalized world: Global Digital Marketing and Modern Protocol and Business Etiquette.

The Global Digital Marketing course, which runs November 24-26, offers executives the latest digital techniques to market their organization or personal projects. “Participants will learn to use advertising tools from companies like Facebook and Google, and to plan their own digital ad campaign” explains Rodolph Boughaba, the associate dean for Executive Education at GU-Q.

The course is taught by Nino Kader, who currently leads a digital agency in Qatar and Washington, DC, and has worked with some of the world’s largest brands. His experience spans 20 years of digital marketing and he was featured on the front page of the Washington Post and in Advertising Age, Newsweek, Bloomberg Business, Wired, and the Harvard Political Review. He is a frequent guest on Al Jazeera discussing topics related to digital platforms such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter.

Modern Protocol and Business Etiquette, a 3-day course that begins December first, is focused on optimizing relationships and building networks through event planning, logistics, and attending business functions. “Anyone required to interact with important individuals as part of their professional or personal duties will benefit from the hands-on exercises, case studies, and final etiquette dinner exercise in the program, from VIP managers to event planners to embassy staff to public relations specialists and more,” said Boughaba.

The course offers unparalleled access to some of the leading experts in the field. Instructors include Jean Paul Wijers, the founder and director of Protocolbureau, a leading protocol expert who has overseen royal weddings and other high level events, William Hanson, the BBC’s expert on matters of etiquette, and Dr. Christine Schiwietz, professor of sociology and assistant dean at GU-Q.

A 25% discount will be applied to returning executive or community education students and GU-Q alumni. For more information or to register, visit the university’s Executive Education page on their website. https://epe.qatar.georgetown.edu/executive-education
