Student-Faculty Game Night Puts Academic Integrity in the Spotlight

Student-Faculty Game Night

The GU-Q Honor Council organized the first-ever Student-Faculty Game Night on February 24, 2019, held in the Georgetown Atrium. Students and faculty took part in a fun and competitive evening testing their knowledge of Honor Council rules and regulations, the honor code, and what academic integrity means, with a gift certificate awarded to the winning team.

The event began with an ice breaker which saw students trying to match faculty members with their baby photos. Then they paired up and created student-faculty groups of four to face a gauntlet of trivia questions.

The night ended with dinner and the awarding of a Virgin Megastore gift certificate to the proud winners.

Game Night was a great opportunity to socialize with members of the GU-Q community, while strengthening Georgetown’s values of excellence in both scholarship and character.
