Guy Spielmann

Guy Spielmann, Associate Professor in Georgetown University’s Department of French and Francophone Studies, will be at GU-Q for the academic year. Dr. Speilmann will teach Advanced French I and Composition and Style, drawing on his interdisciplinary expertise in semiotics, performing arts, and early modern French theater. A scholar and stage director, his work spans from commedia dell’arte and fairground spectacle to the semiotics of contemporary culture and the study of comics.
