Educational Enrichment Programs
Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) provides high school students with meaningful and engaging programming to foster lifelong learning prepare them for university-level success. With pre-college activities that vary from one-day workshops to weekend conferences, to three-week summer coursework, programming is designed to be accessible to every type of high school student. The Office of Educational Enrichment within Student Development administers this program with the mission of promoting academic and personal growth for students in Qatar and abroad.

Georgetown Model United Nations (GMUN)
Dates offered: Fall MUN (Schools in Qatar ONLY) – November 2-4, 2023 & Spring GMUN (International Conference)- Feb 22-24, 2024. Application for Fall and Spring MUNs to be live shortly!
University Preparedness Program (Online Workshops)
Dates offered: April 2023 – May 2024.
Georgetown Global Challengers (Online program + In-person practicum)

Georgetown Pre-College Summer program (GPS)

Georgetown Global Leadership Summer program (GLS)
Date offered: June 2020
GLS was an immersive two week summer program responding to the pandemic, focusing on leadership skills open to all local students in Qatar from grades 9-12. Students focused on areas of personal growth and development through a myriad of workshops and simulation exercises. This program was aimed at providing further support to high school students in Qatar for university-level success and beyond.
