to facilitate campus recruitment programs and help reach both current students and recent alumni.
Appointments
Virtual appointments for industry guidance, resume and cover letter preparation, general career exploration, networking, and practice interviews are available through Handshake.
Drop-Ins
You can drop-in Career Services Virtual Office via zoom 15-min Drop-ins are available weekly Monday to Thursday: (8:30 -10:00) and (15:00 – 16:30) Interested in booking a longer appointment?

Access Handshake
GU-Q Career Center uses a single portal to make it easier for you to access career support. Use Handshake to search for jobs & internships, keep up to date with career events, and book an appointment with the career services team. Alumni can access Handshake up to 3 years after graduation.
Career Exploration
Don’t know where to start: Take a Careers Assessment. Career assessments can help you identify your unique interests, strengths, personality, and values.
Attend Career Events
The Career Center holds events throughout the semester that help students navigate relevant career fields. These workshops include resume writing, cover letters, mock interviews, and a variety of employer information sessions, hosting employers from different industries in government, non-profit and private sectors.
Peer Career Advising Program
The Peer Career Advising Program at Georgetown University Qatar provides an opportunity for juniors and seniors to provide personalized career advice and support to their fellow undergraduate students as they navigate their career trajectories.
