Meeting Rooms and Conference technology
All meeting rooms and classrooms are equipped with projection screens and projectors, an internet connected PC, laptop connection, document camera, videoconferencing systems and conference phones. We also maintain a special telepresence conferencing room with our Washington, DC campus that supports linked simultaneous teaching and learning with students and faculty across continents.

Library Services for Staff
Library staff are available to help you find an online training or information repository to help you do your job better, or help you access resources for work or pleasure.
The Office of Communications and External Affairs can help you reach out to VIPs and government ministries, design event posters, program brochures, templates, publicize accomplishments, translate between Arabic and English, produce videos and take photographs. We also maintain the GU-Q websites and write reports. Email guqcomm or call 4457 8300.
Our website uses the Gutenberg edition of WordPress hosted on Pantheon servers, and most pages are maintained by the individual departments and programs. The front facing home pages and next level audience content and overall management is handled by the Office of Communications and External Relations.
Other HR Services
Help Getting a Bank Account, Car Loan, Visa, or Liquor License
HR can produce a variety of letters for banks, car loans, visas, and liquor licenses. To get a letter, email HR with your request.
Requesting Non-Employee Net IDs
Non-employees and spouses can get Net IDs to access Qatar Foundation’s Maktabi Portal and the GU-Q newsletters by emailing HR. Managers should submit the request for a non-employee who requires it for business reasons, and faculty or staff can request it on behalf of their spouse.
We can help with finding a maid service, insuring the contents of your home, support home maintenance, and help to acquire move-in and move out assistance. Read the Housing Policy.
Immigration and Government Services
We can help you navigate your immigration process including document attestation and police clearance, ID cards, Residency Permit, visa letters and guest visas, driving licenses and tickets, and advocate on your behalf with government authorities. Payroll, Taxes, and Georgetown Management System
We offer a number of payroll and tax services. Payroll and leave are tracked and managed through the Georgetown Management System (GMS). You can view your payslips, apply for leave, manage your benefits, and manage your tax withholdings by logging into GMS.
