Father Daniel Ryan Courrou, SJ is the Middle East and North Africa Regional Director of the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS). Hailing from New York State, he graduated from LeMoyne College in 1994. He later obtained a Masters degree in Theological Studies from Harvard University. He also worked for Fidelity Investments, the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and the College of the Holy Cross. As a Jesuit, he went on to pursue graduate studies in Philosophy from the University of London and obtained a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from Boston College. After being ordained as a Catholic priest, he served at St. Francis Xavier Parish in New York City.
