Diana Buttu is a lawyer who specializes in international law, international human rights law and humanitarian law. She was involved in the Israel/Palestinian negotiations from 2000 to 2005 and worked as an advisor to the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian President. She is a frequent commentator on Palestine and Israel, with commentary appearing in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, the Guardian, the Financial Times and others. She teaches international human rights law, international law and negotiations. Ms Buttu was a fellow at the Stanford Center for Conflict Resolution and at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Law School.
