Biography

Fatima Hamady joined GU-Q as an Economic Specialist in 2022. With extensive experience teaching Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Mathematics, she has contributed to various prestigious national and international institutions in Qatar. A Researcher and Co-Author at the Institute of Management Accountants, she holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the American University of Science & Technology- Beirut and is a Certified Management Accountant -CMA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting, and a professional certificate in “Human Resources Management- HRM”, and a Certificate in “Perspectives in Teaching”, in “Higher Education Management”, in ” Payroll of North America “, and in “The Future of Adult Education: Generative AI-Enhanced Case-Based Learning”. 

A member of Sigma Beta Delta- the International Honour Society for Business, Management, and Administration, a member of IMA (Institute of Management Accountants), Fatima is a candidate of CFA Society (Chartered Financial Analysts). She is the winner of IMA-MENA Students’ Case Study Competition 2018 (Dubai), and the mentor of “Finalists” in MENA-India Students’ Case Study Competition 2021. Fatima believes that the TRIO of: “Accounting, Finance, and Economics” is the solid foundation and the source for every critical decision on a personal, corporate, national, and international level.
