Accessibility and Accommodations
At Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q), we are committed to Universal Design and Accessibility. We strive to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all students and individuals visiting our building, including those with disabilities. GU-Q adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and section 504 of the 1973 Office of Civil Rights Rehabilitation Act.

Academic Accommodations
The Office of Academic Services (OAS) in collaboration with the Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC) assists students with diagnosed disabilities to apply for and access academic accommodations, in accordance with the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and based on recommendations from the Student Wellness and Counseling Center.
Student Wellness & Counseling Center
The Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC) provides holistic wellness services for all GU-Q students. You can explore a range of services from psychoeducation to outreach, assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, and applying for academic and non-academic accommodations depending on your needs.

Service Animal & Emotional Support Animal Guidelines
As part of the Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) commitment to accommodate persons with disabilities, particularly persons who need the assistance of service animals, the university has developed the following guidelines to address service animal requests and usage on the Georgetown University in Qatar building.
