Biography
I am a Program Assistant at the Office of Academic Services (OAS). My work focuses on supporting teaching, learning, and student success initiatives by managing projects, and coordinating academic programs. As part of my role, I am also a Teaching Assistant for the course IPOL 3270 – Quantitative Methods. Through my work at OAS, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of student learning and academic development while exploring best practices in higher education. I aspire to become an educator and see this role as an opportunity to gain exposure to the most effective and updated methods and tools in effective teaching and learning.
I graduated from Georgetown University in Qatar in 2024 with a degree in International Politics. My interests center on migration, particularly the Gulf migration corridor. My research explores the social and economic mobility of Nepalese migrants in the Gulf, and I have contributed to various projects examining migration patterns, labor policies, and diaspora communities. Outside of work, I enjoy watching cricket, playing football (though it has been a while), and cooking. I am always eager to learn and engage with new ideas in both academic and professional settings.
