Biography

Hi! I’ve been the manager of the GU-Q Writing Center since 2016, and I love my job. My journey to get here started with a BA in Anthropology from a small university in Canada, after which I became a certified ESL instructor and wandered around Asia teaching English and academic writing. Along the way, I earned a Master’s in Education with a focus on curriculum development and eventually moved into writing center work. GU-Q is where I get to combine my passion for teaching, curriculum design, and academic writing to support students and faculty. I love collaborating and creating partnerships that benefit multiple stakeholders. In my free time, I read (a lot), paint, garden, travel, and take my dogs out to the desert.
