Independent Contractors

You have landed on this page because you will be contracting with Georgetown University in Qatar for the performance of certain tasks.

Please give close attention to the steps to be taken below according to your citizenship status. Forms and documents should be fully completed and submitted by using the relevant tabs below.

Below are all the documents that need to be provided to us. Please click on “submit” and upload all your completed documents.

For Non-US Residents

• An updated resume
• A government issued valid Identification Document (ID)
• Completed and signed W-8Ben form
• Completed and signed Supplier Maintenance form
• Tax questionnaire form

For US Citizens

• ​An updated resume
• A government issued valid Identification Document (ID)
• Completed W-9 form
• Tax questionnaire form

For US Residents (not citizens)

• Fill in the Foreign National Information Form
• Provide a copy of Passport and copy of current visa
• Provide a copy of I-20 or DS-2019 form (required for F or J visa holders)
• Provide copy of permission letter (from their sponsored home institution if not Georgetown. Applies to F and J visa holders)
• Fill in the online W-9 form and Tax Questionnaire

For Non-US Vendors Outside Qatar

• Fill in the W-8Ben- E form
• Fill in the Supplier Maintenance form
