Georgetown University in Qatar’s diverse student population represents more than 50 different nationalities hailing from five continents. This enables each student to learn about different countries and experience new cultures and traditions. Both inside and outside of the classroom, our students share firsthand accounts of the unique opportunities and challenges faced in their home countries.

Students from each of the eight classes that have graduated from Georgetown University in Qatar have gone on to make names for themselves in their various fields. In the BSFS program, students develop wide range of skills which benefit them in their careers after Georgetown. Our students enhance their abilities in areas such as critical thinking, analytical writing, public speaking, language proficiency, understanding cultural contexts, interpreting data, evaluating evidence and results, and reading critically. 

These skills prepare our graduates for a wide variety of career paths such as diplomacy, government, research, law, education, policy, business, finance, journalism, consulting, and nonprofit work.

The online application form contains mostly biographical information, and can be submitted without the necessary supporting documents. It can be completed in less than an hour, and should be submitted online by February 1, 2020. The supporting documents mentioned in the list below are also due by February 1, 2020.

There is no waiver policy for the SAT/ACT test requirement. All applicants must take either the SAT or ACT to be considered for admission.
