Qatari Cultural Night

Qatari Cultural Night is a wonderful opportunity for the entire Georgetown community to learn more about the rich traditions of Qatari culture. Hosted by Georgetown University students, the evening features sumptuous Qatari food, a relaxing majlis style conversation and sitting space, henna and karak, an addictively sweet brew of milk and tea infused with cardamom and cloves. The Qatari Student Society organizes this wonderful cross-cultural celebration. The inaugural event included an informal discussion led by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah. The discussion allowed Qatari students to learn more about the great opportunities available to them in Qatar’s Foreign Service.
