Read About Past Conferences

We live in a world filled with conflicts,” said International History major and 2022 MUN Secretary General Benjamin Kurian, adding that many of these conflicts require direct dialogue and diplomacy to resolve. “MUN trains the students for that.”

I remember how much MUN helped me break through my shell in high school, and I love the idea that I could possibly help just one student who needs this boost of confidence, or to make them wonder if they want to pursue a career in politics.” –Safoura Usmani, 2021 Secretary General

We are especially proud of our team of 30 Georgetown students who worked tirelessly to put together this conference despite the challenges presented by the pandemic. This conference is a testament to the undying spirit of both Georgetown and high school students in Qatar.” –Jibin Koshy, Educational Enrichment Manager
