Georgetown Spring MUN Conference 2024
ABOUT
We invite interested schools in Qatar and abroad to apply for a team of six (one delegation) or twelve (two delegations) student delegates. The conference will not interfere with school timings. The maximum we can accommodate is up to two delegations. However, we cannot guarantee two delegations for each school, it will be on a first-come-first-served basis. We do not accept individual delegates, if your school applies for its own delegation(s). Please note that committee and country allocations will be sent to the school counselors on first come first served basis. We encourage schools to apply as soon as possible to secure their spots! Delegates are required to research both the country they will represent at the conference as well as the specific topics to be debated in their assigned committee. All committees at the conference are chaired by Georgetown University in Qatar students.

SCHOOLS OUTSIDE QATAR
Application deadline for schools outside Qatar: First Deadline – 30 November 2023, Second Deadline – 15 December 2023
Acceptance is on a rolling basis and the first cohort will receive their acceptance email latest by 7 December while the second cohort will receive their acceptance email by latest by 18 December.
Submission of passport copies (if accepted): 20 December 2023
Registration fee payment deadline: 20 December 2023 (If the payment is not received by the deadline, the university reserves the right to cancel your application)
SCHOOLS IN QATAR
Application deadline: 15 January 2024
Acceptance email: 18 January 2024
Registration fee payment deadline: 1 February 2024 ((If the payment is not received by the deadline, the university reserves the right to cancel your application)
Allocation email for all participating schools: 20 January 2024
(Please note that students will not be provided with committee allocations until the payment is received)

SCHOOLS OUTSIDE QATAR
250 USD per student
1 delegation (6 students + 1 advisor): 1500 USD
2 delegations (12 students + 2 advisors): 3000 USD
There is no advisor fee for advisors unless the school decides to bring an additional advisor, for instance 2 for 1 delegation or 3 for 2 delegations. Each additional advisor will be charged 750USD.
SCHOOLS IN QATAR
450 QAR per student
1 delegation (6 students + 1 advisor): 2700 QAR
2 delegations (12 students + 2 advisors): 5600 QAR
There is no advisor fee for advisors unless the school decides to bring an additional advisor, for instance 2 for 1 delegation or 3 for 2 delegations. Each additional advisor will be charged 500 QAR.
